Meet the team

CEO, Line & Check Pilot. Ground and flight instructor.

Christian is passionate about flying and Yellow Wings. He has over 12,500 hours flying time. He has an ATPL license and personally oversees all of the training of the Yellow Wings pilots to ensure the best possible standards. He is fluent in German (Swiss), French, English and Basic Kiswahili. He is married with two sons. When not flying he loves to share his talent on the guitar.

Chief Pilot and Head of Operations, DCP, Ground and flight instructor,

Randy has been flying for Yellow Wings since 2021 and has more than 15 years experience in the industry. He is an avid motorcyclist and loves the outdoors. One of his favourite quotes is “There is a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician, the other is an artist in love with flight”.

Line Pilot

Andrew has been with Yellow Wings since 2021 and has loved his journey so far. When not busy at work Andrew likes to travel, play golf and football. He is also a keen musician and plays the drums and basic piano.

Karan is an aviation enthusiast who has been involved at Yellow Wings for a while now, whilst training to be a pilot he spent many hours with Christian, our ground crew and helping in marketing. He is now on his next journey with us as a fully qualified pilot. In his spare time he enjoys watching motorsport and art.

Yash is a passionate aviator who kicked off his aviation journey in 2018. During his time off he likes to work out and enjoys playing cricket.

Chris is a dedicated and enthusiastic pilot with a deep admiration for past pioneering aviators. When he's not flying, he enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring the wonders of the night sky as an avid astronomer.

HR & Head of Finance

John has over 18 Years in the Finance profession and has served in the Aviation industry for over 10 Years as Head of Finance and HR. He’s well versed with Financial preparations and analysis, Financial Budgets and forecasts, Taxation among others. He is a member of ICPAK and holds 2 Masters in Business Administration-Finance and Masters in Tax & Customs from Moi University and is a Certified Financial Analyst L1.

Head of Maintenance

Patrick joined Yellow Wings in July 2021 and has 19 years Maintenance Engineering experience. He holds an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License Cat X, a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering and the EASA B2 License from the Netherlands CAA.

Head of Quality

Ibrahim has been in the aviation industry with technical knowledge of more than 20 years. He is the head of quality at Yellow Wings and is highly experienced in Safety Management systems, Aviation maintenance, , AVSEC and is Lead Auditor.

Ibrahim is a keen footballer and chairs & supports Kibra United Soccer Club, which helps and nurtures the youth in the largest slum In Kenya.

Head of Reservations

Peter has been with Yellow Wings since the start of Yellow Wings 20 years ago. He is very much at the heart of the company.

Flight Dispatch

Joy joined Yellow Wings as an attaché in the operations department in August 2022. Currently, she works as an assistant flight dispatcher, collaborating closely with the reservations team. In her spare time, Joy enjoys ice skating and bowling.

Benjamin has more the 10 years experience in the aviation industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Aviation Management from Moi University and a Diploma in flight operations and Dispatch.

Benjamin is responsible for co-ordinating activities on the ground at the both JKIA and Wilson Airport.

Noreen joined Yellow Wings in June 2023 as a flight dispatcher in the operations department. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, embracing the tranquility of the outdoors.

Susan joined Yellow Wings in June 2023 and works in the operations department. In her free time, she enjoys bowling and hiking.

Shilate joined Yellow Wings in April 2021. Since starting with us she has proved herself an invaluable member of the team.

Thomas has been with Yellow Wings since 2011. He loves travelling and listening to music in his spare time.

Kelvin has been with Yellow Wings for 4 years. When he’s not working he likes going for walks in Karura Forest and other places off the beaten track.

Ivy joined Yellow Wings in 2024, bringing her enthusiasm for aviation and her commitment to contributing to Yellow Wings’ excellence.

Beyond flying, Ivy is an adventurer at heart, with a passion for hiking, traveling, and swimming. When she’s not exploring the skies or new destinations, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen, experimenting on different cuisines.

Kamondo is passionate about flying and aviation, with a deep appreciation for everything related to the skies. He’s also an avid fan of football and Formula 1, enjoying the energy, strategy, and excitement that come with each match and race.

Elisha is passionate about flying — there’s something about being up there among the clouds that reminds him why he loves aviation. When he is not in the sky, you will find him with a guitar in hand, playing music or jamming with friends.
